What the Tamil Nadu Startup Map collects, and why. Last updated 28 September 2026.

Browsing

The map, startup pages and investor pages work without an account. We count page views with Umami, which sets no cookies and stores no personal data.

Signing in with Google

Signing in is optional. If you do, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We store them to show who is signed in and, later, to keep things you save or claim tied to your account. We never see your Google password, and we ask for no other Google data.

Submitting a startup or subscribing

What you type into the submission form or the newsletter box is stored so we can review the submission or send the newsletter.

Who we share it with

Nobody, beyond the services that run the site: Supabase (database and sign-in), Railway (hosting) and our email provider. We do not sell or rent personal data.

Deleting your data

Write to hello@baskaranbuilds.com and we will delete your account and anything tied to it.
